Diamond Hotels Management Inc. Appoints Tara Timmins to General Manager of the Quality Inn & Conference Centre Kingston Central and Comfort Suites Kingston Central

June 23, 2022 - Kingston, ON: Diamond Hotels Management Inc. is pleased to announce that Tara Timmins, former Director of Sales, has been appointed to General Manager of the Quality Inn & Conference Centre Kingston Central and the Comfort Suites Kingston Central. 

Bringing more than 14 years of hospitality experience to her position, Timmins joined the group in 2021 as the Senior Sales Manager for the Quality Inn & Conference Centre Kingston Central, Comfort Suites Kingston Central, Holiday Inn Express & Suites Kingston Central, and the Holiday Inn Express Sault Ste. Marie. Soon afterwards, Timmins accepted the position of Director of Sales for these properties where she led the development and implementation of high-yielding sales strategies. Before joining the group, Timmins had worked for the Holiday Inn Kingston Waterfront, managing a variety of areas including sales, catering, and conference services, demonstrating her well-rounded skill set within a hotel environment.

Since joining the group, Timmins has demonstrated leadership, a high level of professionalism, and exceptional customer service which has helped to grow, nurture, and maintain great relationships with our valued clients. Under her leadership, she spearheaded the sales team in maintaining a large client network that increased the volume of group business. Timmins is also an active member of the community, representing Diamond Hotels Management Inc. on the Travel Trade Committee with Tourism Kingston with enthusiasm and passion.

 As General Manager, Timmins will function as the primary strategic business leader for Canada’s first dual-branded Choice Hotels® property, overseeing all aspects of the hotels’ operations, including property performance, revenue generation, sales and marketing, human resources, food and beverage, front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance departments. With her extensive experience and knowledge, Timmins will lead the team in exceeding guest expectations and will continue to position The Quality Inn & Conference Centre Kingston Central and the Comfort Suites Kingston Central as prime locations for both leisure and business travelers in Kingston, Ontario.
